Sports Massage Therapy

Joe qualified in 2020 from WIOC - The Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a first class honours in Masters of Chiropractic. He wanted to become a chiropractor after experiencing first hand the benefits of treatment after visiting a chiropractor in Cardiff for a long-term neck injury. Growing up in Cowbridge, he has always had a keen interest in sport, playing for a number of local teams including football and tennis. His treatments include a variety of techniques such as chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue, dry needling and exercise rehabilitation. He believes that chiropractic care and educating patients on how to manage their conditions enables them to achieve great results.

Kira qualified in 2020 from WIOC with a first class honours in Masters of Chiropractic, after moving to Wales in 2016 from Somerset to study. Kira discovered chiropractic care after experiencing how much it can help the body after receiving care for a back problem that she had just put up with for years. Whilst working, Kira has gained experience in the treatment of patients using chiropractic adjusting techniques, soft tissue work, SOT, dry needling and exercise rehabilitation. She believes that good movement techniques are paramount in enhancing a patient’s response to care and improving their everyday life. Kira has worked with a variety of individuals all varying in age and activity and has a special interest in headache management, exercise rehab and paediatric care. Her passion is to help every patient reach their goals and become pain free as quickly as possible.

Megan qualified in 2023 as a level 4 Sports Massage Therapist, and has a Masters degree in Sports Rehabilitation. Megan discovered the importance of sports massage therapy whilst working in a sports setting, helping athletes relieve muscular pain, and provide overall muscular relaxation. Using the skills learned in both qualifications, Megan continued helping to enhance day to day living for individuals of all ages and backgrounds in a clinical setting. Megan has a keen interest in injury assessment, rehab, and soft tissue management, to aid in the prevention of injuries, or muscular discomfort. She believes that through massage therapy, individuals can feel a sense of relief to help better their day to day activities, as well as sporting activities.
